February 22, 2023 by sara Leave a Comment

Your whole family will love this fun Easter Candy Charcuterie Board! A fun alternative to traditional Easter Baskets, the kids will love picking their favorite Easter candy off of the platter (and you will, too!)

Traditional charcuterie boards are made with meat and cheese (or possibly just meat?) but I think we can all agree that a board made of candy is superior, right? This Easter Candy Charcuterie Board is so much fun to put together, and will be just as fun to eat! A great way to celebrate the Easter holiday!

One of my favorite things about my mother in law is that she still makes me an Easter basket every year, despite the fact that I am now in my 40's. 😀 She had two sons, so she loves shopping for little treats for her daughters-in-law, and I love seeing what she picked out every year. This year though, I might try to convince her to make an Easter dessert board instead of the usual baskets. I'm sure it'll be a huge hit.

This Easter dessert candy board has quickly become one of my favorite dessert charcuterie boards. It's a great option for your next Easter party or Easter brunch.

If you're looking for other Easter treats, check out this Raspberry White Chocolate Loaf cake. Or if you want to keep the oven free for other things, you could go with Chocolate Rice Krispies Treats. And these Air Fryer Diced Potatoes will be a great addition to your Easter dinner.

    Ingredient List

The best part about this Easter candy board is that you can use all of your favorite candies in a jumbled up candy extravaganza! You could pick a theme, and only use candies that fit the theme.

You could choose a color scheme and only have pastel colors! There's no wrong way to go! As long as you have lots of sweet treats, everyone will love it! The following ingredients are the variety of candy that I chose, but feel free to use whatever you love!

    • Marshmallow Peeps
    • Jelly Beans
    • Reese's Pieces
    • Robin Eggs
    • Dove Eggs
    • Chocolate Bunnies
    • Edible Grass
    • Lemon Pirouette Cookies
    • Lemon Kit Kats
    • Cadbury Eggs
    • Reese's peanut butter eggs
    • Chocolate Ducks
    • Chocolate-covered pretzels

I'm not going to give quantities on these candies, because your own board may be a different size than mine, and you may have different items. I bought one bag of each type of candy, and 6 Cadbury eggs. The beauty of a charcuterie board is that the best way to make it is your own way!

How To build your Easter Board

    1. Start with your empty board. I used a cutting board, but you could use a cookie sheet, or a large platter. Whatever you have handy. You can line the board with parchment paper, if you want to keep any loose sugar from the peeps from getting everywhere.
    2. Pull out some small bowls to place the small candies (like jelly beans) in.
    3. Place the bowls on the board, and add your bird's nest of edible grass as well. Fill the bowls and nest.
    4. Continue building the board by adding in larger candies around the bowls - your peeps, chocolate bunny, chocolate ducks, and pretzels. You can also add fresh fruit in at this stage, and any plastic or other Easter eggs.
    5. Make random piles of chocolate eggs around the board, and tuck loose candies around the board to fill in any holes.
