If you love a chai latte, but you want to stay dairy free, can I recommend this Oat Milk Chai Latte? Made with only two ingredients (three if you count cinnamon) it's crazy easy to make and absolutely delicious! No need to stop at the coffee shop on your way to work!

    • Whipped Cream (Optional)

    Tips and Tricks

    • If you want to make an iced chai latte, you can leave everything the same, but don't heat up the ingredients. Just add ice to a glass, add your chai concentrate and stir in oat milk. Easy peasy!
    • I love Trader Joe's Spiced Chai Concentrate but if you don't have a TJ's near you, you can either use Tazo brand which is available at most major grocery stores, or you could treat yourself and get some Dona Chai. It's delicious!

Is a chai latte good with oat milk?

It is! Oat milk is rich and smooth and creamy, and it compliments the sweet and spicy chai really really well!

    Is oat milk healthy?

This one isn't black and white. Oat milk has a lot of benefits: it's high in fiber, high in vitamins and protein, and it's cholesterol free.

However, it's also very high in carbohydrates and it provides fewer nutrients than regular dairy milk. The nutrients it DOES provide are fortified, which means they're added during manufacturing, and don't occur naturally.

If you don't eat dairy then oat milk is a great alternative, but for me, I just like the taste. I don't drink it every day, though.
