These last warm days of summer are perfect for enjoying a Cherry Milkshake after dinner! Rich, and not too sweet, these are easy to make and absolutely delicious!
- 1 cup cherries fresh or frozen
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 4 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- whipped cream optional
In a blender, blend together the cherries and the milk until the cherries are completely blended.
Add the vanilla and the ice cream, and blend to combine.
If the shakes are a little thick, add a little bit more milk. If they're too thin, add a bit more ice cream.
Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream!
